Planet Hollywood International/Buca di Beppo is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Inside Sales Representative.  The ideal candidate should have a restaurant background, with experience in group and catering functions.

Duties:  •·         Create a positive guest experience and provide quality service through detailed group event planning.

•·         Respond to all new group leads, follow up on existing leads and accounts.

•·         Book parties and events for Buca di Beppo restaurants nationwide.

•·         Obtain all relevant information from the event coordinator and/or travel planner and send appropriate menu pricing information.

•·         Respond to customer inquiries promptly to secure group reservations and generate immediate revenue.

•·         Generate a Banquet Event Order, contracting the event specifications and follow-up with the Group Coordinator/Event Planner to secure an executed/signed contract and deposit.

•·         Keep record of customer interactions and transactions in our Delphi reservation system.

•·         Ability to perform cold calls as needed.

•·         Communicate all event details to the local sales managers at the restaurants

•·         Maximize Unit profitability through proper yield management.

•·         Generate a Weekly Sales Activity Report detailing sales efforts.

•·         Additional duties not specified in this job description as assigned by the Director of International Sales.


•·         2 to 5 years of customer service & sales experience.

•·         Knowledge of food, restaurants and party planning.  Experience in restaurant industry highly preferred.

•·         Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word. Knowledge of Delphi.FDC system preferred.

•·         Self-starter, willing to learn new concepts and adapt to change.

•·         Excellent organizational skills.

•·         Ability to multitask (handle multiple online & phone inquiries at once).

•·         Flexible working hours, with evenings and weekend availability required.
